A Day in Block Island 8/19/23

Join Foxy Travel for a Day in Block Island, Saturday August 19th!

Block Island offers the vacationer what does not seem possible anymore – simple relaxation in a bucolic setting! We will take the 9:30 am ferry from Point Judith, RI and arrive in Block Island at approx. 10:30 am. From there, you have 6 hours on own to enjoy a quintessential island experience! Go shopping downtown, try out one of their many beaches, eat lunch seaside, walk the boardwalk, rent a moped or bicycle, visit a lighthouse or the bird sanctuary, see the clay cliffs of Mohegan Bluffs…the possibilities are endless and completely up to you! We will depart Block Island on the 5:00 pm ferry, docking at 6:00 pm, and immediately board the coach to return home. With all this small island has to offer, It’s no wonder that the Nature Conservancy has designated Block Island “One of the 12 last great places in the Western Hemisphere”.

Please note, we highly recommend planning your day and making any necessary reservations for tours in advance, to best enjoy your time on the island! This tour is rain or shine. Depending on your plans for the day, this tour could involve a lot of walking.

7:00 am Check in at Lincoln Mall RI Park & Ride, 7:15 am Depart (622 George Washington Hwy, Lincoln, RI 02865)

8:00 pm Approx. Return
