Autumn Train Extravaganza!
October 16, 2025 – October 18, 2025
6:45 am – 6:30 pm
Join Foxy Travel Saturday, October 18th for a 4 hour scenic train ride & more in NH!
We’ll depart Meredith Station and head north over Ashland Summit across the Ashland High Trestle. We’ll continue our ride north passing through the Bonnie Brae Deer Farm and the Glove Hollow Christmas Tree Farm in Bridgewater, NH before arriving in Plymouth, NH. Our destination is the Common Man Inn & Spa located on the north side of town. Once there, we’ll gather in the dining room for a tasty 3 course hot buffet lunch of Vegetable Soup, Chicken Pot Pie, Pot Roast, 4 Sides and Apple Crisp. Following lunch, visit the Common Man Inn Gift Shop filled with NH-made gifts before returning to the train. Next we’ll travel south through Plymouth to Ashland, NH where we’ll stop at the restored 1869 Ashland Railroad Station for a guided tour. We’ll be greeted by members of the Ashland Historical Society dressed in 1860’s attire who will be our Tour Guides! We’ll re-board the train for the final time and continue south over Ashland Summit passing Lake Waukewan before arriving back at Meredith Station. As always, we’ll make a comfort rest stop enroute to NH.
