Experience the grandeur of this seaside estate and its marvelously landscaped grounds! Purchased in 1910 by Chicago industrialist Richard T. Crane, the 59-room mansion seated on 3,500 bucolic acres in Ipswich is a sight to see! Grab your camera and enjoy a 60-minute guided tour followed by 75 minutes of exploration time on your own. From its undulating oceanside lawn and manicured gardens, to its historic relevance and goal of land preservation, Castle Hill on the Crane Estate is a marvel not to be missed! After our visit, we will go to Decklyn’s in Gloucester for a 2 course plated lunch before returning home. Please note: The guided house tour includes the second floor, which requires the ability to climb 30 steps and there is no elevator. There is a pictorial tour that can be offered to guests not able to climb the stairs.
