Join Foxy Travel Friday, June 13th, 2025 for a rail and sail excursion in the Connecticut River Valley!

Enjoy a 3-course lunch aboard restored 1920’s Pullman Diners as part of a 3.5 hour lunch, train and riverboat sightseeing excursion! Your day begins by boarding the dining car at the historic Essex Station where your meal will be prepared onboard. Travel aboard the train along the Lower Connecticut River Valley while enjoying your meal. At Deep River Landing you will transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River – bursting with lush scenery and historic sights such as Gillette Castle. You will finish your journey riding in Coach Passenger Cars aboard the train back to Essex Station.

Lunch Choice Due at Registration:

Braised Porchetta over mashed with gravy and seasonal vegetables

Chicken Francaise with white wine, lemon, butter and fresh herbs served with fingerling potatoes

Eggplant Rollatini with whipped ricotta and fresh mozzarella served with angel hair

Meals include non-alcoholic drinks, garden salad, roll and peach crisp with whipped cream. Additional beverages may be purchased on own on board by credit card, gratuity not included.
