Join Foxy Travel Saturday, April 24th for a day of Spring Blooms at Gilded Mansions!

Start the day in Bristol, RI and embark on a guided tour at the Linden Place, a historic estate museum and arts center that tells one family’s 200 year journey through American History. Linden Place has a complex history including the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade, the Industrial Revolution and Hollywood.

Next visit Blithewold Manor, Gardens and Arboretum for a self-guided tour of the grounds and manor & an Afternoon Tea Luncheon! The grounds will be in the midst of “Daffodil Days” with over 100,000 bulbs planted annually, and additional early Spring flowers. The second floor of the manor is accessible by stairs only. Afternoon Tea is served family style on a 3 tier serving display, with items such as: apricot & pear sandwich, chicken salad on mini croissants, cucumber dill sandwiches, shrimp pate, ham and swiss, macarons, truffles, scones and a pot of Blithewold Tea.

Finish the day walking amongst the Green Animals Topiary Garden, home to more than 80 topiary animals and figures, with colorful flowers spread amongst the 7 acre property overlooking Narragansett Bay.
