Sold Out Gilded Mansions 4/18/26

Join Foxy Travel on Saturday, April 18th and visit 3 Gilded Mansions!

Start the day in Bristol, RI and embark on a guided tour at the Linden Place, a historic estate museum and arts center that tells one family’s 200 year journey through American History. Linden Place has a complex history including the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade, the Industrial Revolution and Hollywood.

Next visit Blithewold Manor, Gardens and Arboretum in Bristol, RI for a self guided tour of the grounds and manor. The grounds will be in the midst of “Daffodil Days” with over 100,000 bulbs planted annually, and additional early Spring flowers. The second floor of the manor is accessible by stairs only.

A quick trip to Newport, RI ends the day with lunch in the newly opened Carriage House, followed by a visit to nearby Marble House! Menu Selections include 1 Starter: New England Clam Chowder or Caesar Salad and 1 Main: Grilled Chicken BLT, Caprese Sandwich, or Beef & Veal Bolognese. Lunch will be ordered tableside off the provided menu, including a beverage. Once you’ve finished your meal, board the coach for a quick trip over to Marble House. This tour is self-guided. An audio tour is available by downloading the app to your personal device, earbuds required.

*Please note, as of 11/25/25 the Elms Mansion will be closed for the month of April 2026 due to HBO filming “The Gilded Age”. Newport Preservation Society has therefore canceled our reservation at Elms and we will now visit The Marble House in its place.
