La Salette Shrine Celebration of Lights 12/4/20

Join Foxy Travel and explore the grounds of La Salette Shrine in Attleboro while they are having their annual Celebration of Lights! Guests are welcome to independently stroll the outdoor decorations featuring over 400,000 lights, head inside to the International Creche Museum, Religious Articles Store and the Cafeteria/Snack Shacks. Social distancing and Masks while on the property is required. We will arrive at La Salette Shrine at approx 5:45 pm and depart at 8:00 pm, returning to Foxy at approx 9:00 pm. This trip takes place rain, snow or shine! Impending weather cancellations are determined by La Salette Shrine. If the venue is open, the trip goes out as scheduled!

A word from Shrine Director, Father Flavio Gillio:  A light from afar is all that we need to keep on going through our life journey. A “Light from Afar” was enough for the three wise men to embark on a life-changing journey. A “Light from Afar”, led the shepherds of Bethlehem to witness a transforming encounter. A “Light from Afar” gives a sense of direction and hope. We need to be reminded that, despite these challenging times we are experiencing, the “Light from Afar” is still shining ahead of us all. In this spirit, all of us at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette in Attleboro Massachusetts would like to welcome you to the 67th Annual Christmas Celebration of Lights. This year’s theme is “Light from Afar”. Join us to celebrate the One who is “the light of the world” (John 8:12), Jesus the Christ.
