Murder at Howard Johnson’s @Newport Playhouse 9/19/21

Update 9/10/21 – The Newport Playhouse has suffered significant flood damage and is effectively closed until 10/31 for construction. Therefore, our scheduled tours on 9/19 and 10/24 are canceled. All registered guests will be contacted and offered a full refund via your choice of check, gift certificate or transfer of funds to a different tour. Please have patience as there are MANY people to contact. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to being able to return to the Newport Playhouse in the future.

Update 8/6/21 – The Newport Playhouse is requiring ALL guests wear a mask while in the buffet line and when in the theatre, regardless of vaccination status. Buffet line has shields in place and staff will plate the items you choose, for you. The Newport Playhouse reserves the right to ask any patron refusing to comply with their mask policy to depart the premises. – Thank You

We are FINALLY heading back to our beloved Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant! Join Foxy Travel on Sunday September 19th and come see what everyone is raving about! With it’s convenient one stop destination, guests are treated to a comedic theater performance, a bountiful buffet and a cabaret performance during dessert… without ever leaving the Playhouse! Beverages are purchased on own. In regards to Covid19 protocols at the Playhouse: the Playhouse staff will plate guests buffet selections for them; seating is back to full capacity and masks are required for anyone not vaccinated.

Is all fair in love? Even murder? That’s the question posed by this light and funny suspense comedy about a love triangle in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn. The play presents a love triangle involving a woman, her lover and her husband in three scenes. In the first scene, the wife and her lover plot to murder the husband. In the second scene, the wife and her husband are plotting to murder the lover. The third scene has the husband and the lover plotting to murder the wife, but this attempt, like the others, fails.
