Option 1: Mystic Aquarium

Dive into the wonders of marine life with up-close encounters of New England’s only beluga whales, playful penguins, sharks and colorful sea creatures. Enjoy live sea lion shows, hands-on touch tanks, and interactive exhibits. When you are done at the aquarium, feel free to take a leisurely stroll next door to Olde Mistick Village where you’ll find charming boutiques, artisan shops, and delicious local treats. (Approx. 9:45am – 4pm)

Option 2: Mystic Seaport Museum

Step back in time at the nation’s premier maritime museum! Explore a recreated 19th-century coastal village, board historic ships, and watch skilled craftsmen at work. Discover engaging exhibits that bring New England’s rich seafaring history to life, from whaling voyages to maritime innovations. After your museum visit, board the motorcoach for a short ride to Olde Mistick Village, where you’ll have approximately two hours to explore its charming shops, eateries, and unique attractions. (Approx. 10am – 2 pm at Museum; 2pm – 4pm Olde Mistick Village) 

This trip is rain or shine and includes a lot of walking for independent exploration.
