Is there a better way to spend a summer day than in NYC with Foxy Travel? We don’t think so either!

So catch the FTI motorcoach and journey with us to Battery Park where you have your choice of boarding the ferry to visit Lady Liberty and Ellis Island OR follow your escort for a quick walk to the 9/11 Museum and Memorial. Admission times are reserved for 11:30 am and we will depart the city at approx 5:30 pm, giving you 6 hours in the city! As always we will make a comfort rest stop enroute to NYC and on our return home.

This is our last visit to the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Museum in 2018 (September 9/11 Museum trip is Sold Out with a waitlist) Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Not interested in visiting the Statue of Liberty or the 9/11 Museum but really want to go to NYC for the day? Select the “Shopping” option which does not include admission tickets, it simply includes transportation and escort!

Is it possible to tour both Ellis Island and the 9/11 museum on this trip?

Hello Debra, Thank you for your interest in attending a motorcoach trip with Foxy Travel! We do not recommend attempting to visit both Ellis Island and the 9/11 Museum in one day trip. In order to reach Ellis Island, you would have to board the ferry at Battery Park, where it will make its first stop at the Statue of Liberty and then continue on to Ellis Island. On average, guests spend 2 hours each at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island before taking the return ferry to Battery Park. You would then have walk 10-15 minutes to the 9/11 Museum. At the 9/11 Museum, guests average 5 hours and often state they will be returning to see more! Simply put – there are not enough hours in the day to adequately visit each place.

Does the trip to the Statue of Liberty include access to the Crown of the Statue? We would really like to climb the statue and enter the Crown as well.

    Thanks!

Hello Kenny, Thank you for your interest in attending a motorcoach trip with Foxy Travel! The Statue of Liberty Reserve Access tickets do not include access to the Pedestal or the Crown. They are general admission ferry tickets that include an audio tour and access to the grounds at both the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Crown and Pedestal access are given in limited numbers per day. You are able to take your ticket to the booth on the Island and inquire for availability to either the Crown or Pedestal. Provided they have availability they will have you pay the difference and grant access. Hope this helps!

Do you have any August, September or October trips scheduled to the Statue of Liberty?

    • Tiffany Cutting July 20, 2018 at 9:35 am - Reply

Hello Bridget, Thank you for inquiring! Saturday July 28th is our final Statue of Liberty trip of 2018. We still have tickets available for that trip and would love to have you join us! We will be visiting NYC every Sat the month of December however they do not include Statue tickets and we do not drop at Battery Park on those trips. It would be up to you to purchase Statue tickets and get from our Bryant Park drop off to the Battery Park ferry terminal on the Dec trips. Any further questions let me know. We hope to see you July 28th!
