Explore the Peabody Essex museums vast collections and changing exhibitions ranging from maritime art to photography to fashion & design pieces! Explore a breadth of Asian and Indigenous art and artifacts as well as pieces exploring Salem’s rich history. When you feel you’ve had enough self-guided exploration at PEM, step outside and enjoy time on own during Salem’s off-season! Charming shops, historic landmarks and excellent restaurants are all within walking distance and without the large crowds that autumn brings! Guests will have a total of 4.5 hrs to self-guide at PEM and Salem. Trip takes place rain or shine.
