Scents & Sights of Spring 5/10/24

Friday, May 10th

Think Spring! We’ll start the day at Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory, home to an 8,000 sq ft indoor conservatory, with over 4,000 exotic and domestic butterflies in a tropical environment. Guests will self tour the conservatory and stroll through the outdoor gardens in bloom for 1.5 hours. Next we’ll visit Yankee Candle Village for 2 hours, giving you time to stock up on over 200+ scented candles, home décor, kitchen wares, garden items and more. Guests will dine on own during this timeframe at Hillside Pizza and Powder Hollow Brewery, attached to Yankee Candle. Our last stop will be a quick visit to Richardson’s Candy Kitchen, home to homemade fudge, chocolates, candy, ice cream and gift baskets. 

Hillside Pizza is located inside the attached Powder Hollow Brewery at Yankee Candle Village. (They also have a small Hillside Cafe version inside Yankee Candle, with a cold limited menu) All of the ingredients are locally sourced, fresh and organic! They offer Personal Pizzas, Wraps, Soups, Salads and Select Sides such as Macaroni & Cheese; with prices ranging from $5 – $15. Place your food order at the register and select your table within the Brewery on own. Nice day out? There is an outdoor courtyard full of tables and several picnic tables to choose from, right outside the main entrance of the Brewery. Interested in trying a hand crafted micro brew? Order a pint at the Powder Hollow Brewery counter, or take a growler home to enjoy the finest of hops, wheat, and barley.

5:30 pm Approx Return
