All Aboard!! Join Foxy Travel for our annual Turkey Train trip on Saturday, October 4th!

Start the day at Longview Country Store for a quick shopping stop of artisan wares and unique gifts. Then the main event, the Turkey Train! We will board the Granite State Scenic Railway in Meredith, NH for a scenic train ride alongside Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoy a catered turkey feast, brought to you by the folks from Hart’s Turkey Farm. The feast is always amazing & served plated with juicy turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, homemade rolls, squash, stuffing, dessert and 1 non-alcoholic drink. Sorry, there are no meal substitutions! Tables on the train hold 4 Foxy Travel guests each. The Turkey Train is BYOB. Gratuity to your server is to be extended individually, in cash, at the conclusion of your meal. Directly upon return to the station, we will board the coach for a quick shopping stop at Kellerhaus Candy serving ice cream, homemade chocolates, candies and knicknacks. As always, we will make a comfort rest stop enroute to NH.

Please note, stairs onto/off the train are deep. 

7:45 am Check in at Foxy Travel, 8:00 am Depart

8:15 am Check in at Millbury MA Pike Park & Ride (Exit 94), 8:30 am Depart

7:00 pm Approx Return

Trip Includes: Deluxe Motorcoach Transportation, Foxy Escort, Turkey Train Ride & Meal, Stop at Longview Country Store and Kellerhaus

Not Included: Gratuity for the Coach Driver, Foxy Escort & TT Server; BYOB (optional)

Tour Activity Level:

Foxy Travel offers the service of purchasing Travel Guard Insurance in our office; which covers doctor documented cancellations and is based on the cost of the trip and the travelers date of birth. Travel Guard is not affiliated with Foxy Travel and once purchased, any and all insurance related questions and cancellations are processed directly through Travel Guard.

    Is there a lot a walking on the trip

      Hi Pat, This tour has 1 sneaker rating= Little to No walking. The most difficult piece would be the deep stairs getting on and off the train. There is a brief shopping stop before the Turkey Train and 1 after, each approx. 1 hour or less. Otherwise you are seated while on the coach and on the Turkey Train. Thank you!

    I tried calling to ask.”.Where do we get on the bus at??” I have reservations for the Turkey Train on Oct. 4th, 2025?? When I called..1st I got an recording to push a button. I pushed “1” than I was told the person at that extension was unavailable. Than it disconnected altogether. So I hope to hear back with an answer to my question..ASAP as in 3 weeks is Oct. 4th, 2025. Thank-You!!

      Good Morning Marcie, When you next call – Motorcoach Tours is option #2. Apologies on the disconnect, the Travel Agent (option #1) was not in the office. Where you get on the coach for motorcoach tours depends on the which location you registered for and is listed and highlighted on your receipt, as well as seat numbers. Your receipt has yourself and guest registered at Foxy Travel Pick Up, 7:45 am check-in. Parking is located across from the office in the gravel lot, or the few spots behind our building. Your seats are 55, 56. Thank you
