Expired Von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort 4 Days/3 Nights 11/17 – 11/20/25

We’re heading to Stowe, VT for 4 days and 3 nights of beautiful countryside and relaxation! Monday – Thursday, November 17th – November 20th

Guests will enjoy 3 nights of accommodations at the famed Von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort during their 75th Anniversary year! Experience Austrian inspired Vermont lodging on 2600 acres, with stunning mountain views. Breakfast is a Vermont style buffet breakfast sourced locally farm to table. Dinners are European inspired 3 course buffets sourced locally “A Little of Austria… A Lot of Vermont”, giving old world ambience with world class dining. Accommodations include 2 Queens or 1 King in the Supreme category. The resort will be gearing up for the holidays with seasonal decor and guests should be properly attired for the Vermont Winter season! We’ll make stops for shopping at a few Vermont must do’s and guests are encouraged to take part in the resorts daily activities or simply relax on property!  

Rooms are Supreme category with 2 Queens or 1 King with mini fridges, keurig, tv and wifi. Resort includes fitness center, indoor pool with hot tub, common areas with fireplaces, libraries and board games, Kaffeehaus, Brewery & Beirhall, gift shop, daily activities for individual charge, hiking trails, on property shuttle services, afternoon tea & cookies, evening movies and more!

   

Day 1; Mon 11/17

8:30 am Check in at Foxy, 9:00 am Depart

9:30 am Check in at Millbury Park & Ride, 9:45 am Depart

11:45 am – 12:45 pm Vermont Country Store & Kissing Bridge 

Time on own for shopping, use of the restrooms and a photo op at the kissing bridge. Purchase a grab n go lunch at Mildreds Market & Dairy Bar while here or feel free to bring lunch with you from home.

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm King Arthur Baking Company 

Time on own for shopping 

4:00 pm Approx Arrive at Von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort

6:00 pm Buffet Dinner in Dining Hall

Day 2; Tues 11/18

7:30 am – 9:00 am Buffet Breakfast in Dining Hall

9:00 am – 10:30 am Von Trapp History Tour in St George’s Hall with a special visit from a Von Trapp family member!

10:30 am – 5:30 pm Time & Lunch on Own @Resort 

Use this time to relax in the common areas, visit the Kaffeehaus, indoor pool, fitness center, hike a trail, sit by a fireplace, join an *activity, etc. Lunch can be purchased in the Lounge, Kaffeehaus or Bierhall. Shuttles are available free of charge. 

6:00 pm Buffet Dinner at Brewery Bierhall Observation Deck Enjoy dinner in the industrial setting overlooking the Von Trapp Bierhall ‘where the award winning brew is made’. Consider booking a brewery tour before dinner! 

*A daily schedule of activities is available on the Von Trapp website, or ask Foxy for the link, with the ability to register in advance for events such as wine & beer tastings, sip and paint class, wreath making, ornament making, horse drawn sleigh rides, yoga, maple sugar tour, meet the cows tour, birdwatching tour, etc. You can also register at the front desk on arrival!

Day 3; Wed 11/19

7:30 am – 9:00 am Buffet Breakfast in Dining Hall

Optional: Time TBD approx 10am – 1pm; 3hrs

Take the coach for a quick trip to a small Waterbury VT shopping plaza that consists of Cabot Creamery, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Danforth Pewter & Smugglers Notch Distillery House for time on own shopping; then Ben & Jerry’s for the scoop counter & gift shop (not the factory tour).

Day 4; Thurs 11/20

7:30 am – 9:00 am Buffet Breakfast in Dining Hall

10:00 am Bag Pull

11:00 am Board/Depart

11:15 am – 12:15 pm Cold Hollow Cider Mill 

Time on own for shopping, consider purchasing lunch at the Cafe for the ride home
