Pack your sunscreen & beach bag and join Foxy Travel for a day at Hampton Beach, during the 27th annual Sand Sculpting Classic! Sunday, June 13th, 2027
Sculptures will be complete and available for your viewing pleasure (Sculpting begins Thursday, Voting is Saturday), in addition to the boardwalk, beach, arcade, shopping and casino. Lunch options are plentiful and of course, lots of spots for beach goodies like ice cream, taffy and fried dough. It’s up to you how you spend your 5 hours at Hampton Beach! The coach will arrive at Hampton Beach approx 10:30 am and depart at 4:00 pm. This trip is Rain or Shine!! Sculptures are made with special sand and withstand rain.

Enjoy a 3-course lunch aboard restored 1920’s Pullman Diners as part of a 3.5 hour lunch, train and riverboat sightseeing excursion! Your day begins by boarding the dining car at the historic Essex Station where your meal will be prepared onboard. Travel aboard the train along the Lower Connecticut River Valley while you finish your meal. At Deep River Landing you will transfer to the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a cruise on the Connecticut River – bursting with lush scenery and historic sights such as Gillette Castle. You will finish your journey riding in Coach Passenger Cars aboard the train back to Essex Station.

Join Foxy Travel in Boston, Saturday, June 26th
Dinner in the city with a Sunset Cruise to finish the night? Yes Please!
Start the afternoon with 4 hours of time on own in Boston! Go shopping in Quincy Market, visit Faneuil Hall, go to the Aquarium, dine in the North End, walk the Freedom Trail… it’s completely up to you how you spend your afternoon! The coach will drop guests off at Long Wharf pier approx 2:30 pm for self exploration. Long Wharf is centrally located to Quincy Market and the North End; and the same place you will return to for your evening cruise. Meet back at Long Wharf at 6:30 pm to board and embark on a 1.5 hr Sunset Sightseeing Cruise, ending at approx 8:30 pm. The cruise will bring you up close to witness the USS Constitution’s sunset ceremony signaling the day’s end, with beautiful views of the Harbor Islands and Boston’s skyline. A full cash bar with light snacks is available on board, with bathrooms. Cruise sails rain or shine, with a climate controlled interior deck.
This tour includes a lot of walking and is best for guests who are able to explore on own.

Join Foxy Travel Monday, June 28th!
Wear your stretchy pants and get ready to eat, eat, eat! We’ll start the day with a stop at Stonewall Kitchen for jams, jellies, all things kitchenware, and some treats from their cafe. Then it’s lobster ‘in the rough’ at Foster’s Downeast Clambake in York Harbor, Maine! This authentic Maine clambake is truly a crowd pleaser with your preselected choice of One or Two Lobsters served with clam chowder, steamed clams/mussels, corn on the cob, red potatoes and onions. If Lobster isn’t your thing, enjoy BBQ Chicken grilled to perfection in their housemade sweet and sour hickory sauce, served with red potatoes, onions and corn on the cob. All meals are served with delicious Maine blueberry cake for dessert, self-serve Lemonade, Iced Tea and Coffee. There is also a full service bar available for purchase on own. Weather dependent, we’ll make a quick photo stop at Nubble Lighthouse before finishing our food tour at When Pigs Fly Bakery, for fresh breads and baked goods!
