We are headed to NYC for 3 days/2 nights, with accommodations at Sheraton Times Square! Friday, July 9th – Sunday, July 11th, 2027
This weekend is for guests who are able to plan and explore the city on own… the possibilities are endless and completely up to you! Hotel accommodations include 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds, with buffet breakfast. Located at 7th Ave & 53rd Street, this hotel is in a prime location for you to explore Midtown Manhattan! Come and go as you please from the hotel, your home base for the weekend! As always, we will make a comfort rest stop on our way to NYC and on our return home, to stretch your legs and grab some quick service food.

Start the day aboard a Charles Riverboat for a 2 hour Narrated Architecture Cruise along the Charles River and into Boston Harbor! Enjoy spectacular views of historic and contemporary architecture along Boston Harbor, the Charles River Locks, the Charles River basin and Boston Harbor. Narration is provided by ‘Boston by Foot’ guides and sponsored by the Boston Society of Architecture.
The Riverboat has open air windows that can be closed for inclement weather, a cash bartender with light snacks and small bathroom on board. Cruise is rain or shine. Cash tips for the boat crew and guide is customary and at your individual discretion. Following the river cruise, we’ll enjoy lunch at The Cheesecake Factory where you will order an entree, slice of cheesecake and non-alcoholic beverage off of an extensive provided menu!

Set sail for one of New England’s most iconic summer destinations! Our day begins aboard the high-speed ferry, whisking us across Nantucket Sound in approximately one hour. Once on the island, enjoy approximately 6 hours on your own to explore Nantucket at your leisure. Stroll the charming cobblestone streets, browse boutiques and galleries, enjoy fresh seafood, take in the harbor views or venture beyond downtown area aboard ‘The Wave’, Nantucket’s free island shuttle service. After a memorable day of island exploring, we’ll board the high-speed ferry for our return to the mainland. We anticipate taking the 8:15 am ferry, docking in Nantucket at approx 9:15 am; 3:30 pm return ferry, docking in Hyannis at approx 4:30 pm. Join Foxy Travel Monday, August 2nd, 2027!
Wear your stretchy pants and get ready to eat, eat, eat! We’ll start the day with a stop at Stonewall Kitchen for jams, jellies, all things kitchenware, and some treats from their cafe. Then it’s lobster ‘in the rough’ at Foster’s Downeast Clambake in York Harbor, Maine! This authentic Maine clambake is truly a crowd pleaser with your preselected choice of One or Two Lobsters served with clam chowder, steamed clams/mussels, corn on the cob, red potatoes and onions. If Lobster isn’t your thing, enjoy BBQ Chicken grilled to perfection in their housemade sweet and sour hickory sauce, served with red potatoes, onions and corn on the cob. All meals are served with delicious Maine blueberry cake for dessert, self-serve Lemonade, Iced Tea and Coffee. There is also a full service bar available for purchase on own. Weather dependent, we’ll make a quick photo stop at Nubble Lighthouse before finishing our food tour at When Pigs Fly Bakery, for fresh breads and baked goods!
